About
Dr Latiefa Da Costa graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelor of Science Degree. She then did her teacher’s diploma through Unisa while teaching first at Alexander Sinton High School and later at Habibiya High School.
Her eldest son, Muhammad Salman was born in 1987. ( He is presently in his final year of quantity surveying) She started her Degree in Dentistry in 1988 through the University of Western Cape. Her second son, Muhammad Shafii was born in 1990 during her 5th year of studies. He is now in his 4th year of Dentistry. She opened practice in 1991, immediately after graduating. In 1993 her daughter, Laylah Waradeya was born. (She has started her studies in medicine at UCT). In 2008 she opened another practice in Bonteheuwel. She has now been in private practice for more than 20 years.

In 2010, Dr Da Costa moved her practice to a new premises and incorporated the latest in dental technology.
Her practice in Salt River has since grown to 3 full time dentists and an oral hygienist and four support staff.
