Dr Muhammad Shafii Da Costa

Dr Muhammad Shafii Da Costa started studying dentistry in the womb in my 4^th year of dentistry. What an amazing young man he has grown up to be. Super proud Mamma. He joined the practice in 2017 and has proven to have an amazing work ethic. I am so proud of his growth as a dentist and together with Raziah they run the orthodontic department. Not afraid of hard work, and welcoming positive criticism, he has made a massive positive impact at the surgery. His resounding laughter together with that of his patients brings an unusual and unique atmosphere not expected at a dental practice. Shouts of laughter emanating from the ortho room have become a daily part of the practice.

In 2017 he married a beautiful oral hygienist and in 2019 this newly married couple faced a massive challenge when he was diagnosed with cancer. Through the Grace of The Almighty, he has now been in remission for 4 years.  If anything this journey has shown us his strength of character and his beautiful soul and his ability to face adversity with patience.

I look forward to one day handing over the reins to him with the knowledge that he will not only carry on the love that we have for what we do but the care and concern we have for our patients as well, who become part of our dental family.
